Cornet Technology IPS-16/32 - Intelligent Protection Switches

Cornet Technology builds dependable relay-based switches. MTBF is well over 100,000 hours and are designed for "fail soft" operation. The IPS offers automatic path switching for (T1/E1, EAI-530 and EIA-232), handles a mix of interfaces (multi-mode and single mode fiber, 10/100/100-BaseT, traditional WAN, T1/E1, and VF) in a single chassis, offers dual-redundant power supplies, and features IP control (SNMP and Telnet).

Applications for the IPS switches include: Out-of-Service Testing and Monitoring, SCADA Backup, Ethernet Switch/Hub Redundancy, Fallback Switching, FEP/Router Sparing and Anti-Hacking Switching.
