Cornet Technology iVDO Stax

The iVDO Stax is a unique H.Q264 Video Encoder card in PC 104+ form factor with audio capability. Designed to fit in a Cisco 3200 Mobile Access Router, it addresses the need for a mobile transportation surveillance and management device. The device targets emergency first responder (police, fire, ambulances) and public transit vehicles (light rail and buses) as part of a unified Metropolitan Mobile Network platform, as well as Homeland Security and DoD surveillance applications. The card presently handles encoding of NTSC/PAL signals into H.264 streams.

Product Highlights

• Four composite video inputs and one looped composite video output with on-screen display capabilities. Viewing latency is less than 200 ms end-to-end at 5 Mbps.

• Three RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial port.
