CVME-7448S

The Celero CVME features a Freescale PowerPC MPC7448 @ 1.6 GHz processors in VME 6U form factor. Each processor has an AltiVec™ vector-processing engine that is capable of optimizing the performance of mathematically intensive operations. Each processor has separate memory bank architecture, including 1 MB on-processor L2 Cache, 256 MB DDR SDRAM (expandable to 512 MB), and 32 MB Flash (expandable to 256 MB). The board has two 64-bit PMC sites for flexible I/O expansion, two RS-232/422/485 configurable serial ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a 10/100/1000 Base-T Gigibit Ethernet port.
